Bibi gets support from the House

Both sides of the aisle in the House showed strong support for Benjamin Netanyahu when he spoke before Congress.
In doing so, they came down solidly against the administration's ridiculous call to shrink their borders to those that existed in 1967.
Robert Andrews (D, New Jersey) even stated that the president was "tilting toward Hamas" in his demands.
Even 'Dingy' Harry Reid and Steny Hoyer sided against the president, who has been doing some back pedaling since he has seen and heard the reactions against his speech.

It's too bad this and all his other huge mistakes will be conveniently ignored when he runs for re-election.

More failure in our schools

It is bad enough that our schools do not teach children right and wrong.
Well, at least they don't teach what most of us believe is right and/or wrong.
Now they are teaching us that even if you break the law, you can be a high profile student and still not be kicked out.
Pedro Ramirez is the student body president of Fresno State University and Jose Salcedo is the Student Government Association President at the Miami Dade College's InterAmerican campus.
They both recently revealed that they are and have been in our country illegally for years and have defrauded the schools, students, and taxpayers of the cities they live in.
It is quite likely that they will receive support and cover from activist groups and Democrat politicians known for defending criminal activity.

It is no coincidence that these "timely" revaluations come as Democrats in congress are poised to push for the "Dream Act" that would allow illegals who were brought to America under the age of 16 "through no fault of their own" if they meet certain criteria and follow the rules (after knowingly breaking them for years).

Am I the only one that finds it rather threatening that people here illegally are actively and openly engaging in politics in a way designed to force the door to our country open even more?

Dem flier includes Social Security #. Stupid or evil?

Democrats mailed a flier attacking a Republican candidate in Florida that included his social security number.
Allen West had had a tax lien in Indiana for $11K that was promptly paid and the Democrat mailer reproduced the document without removing the easily identifiable 9 digit number.
They claim the error was simply an oversight.
So, are they stupid or evil?
And what is up with Indiana letting people view documents with SSNs on them?

Dems infiltrating Tea Party

Recent events have led many to believe that the Democrats are infiltrating the Tea Party or simply using the name to play political tricks.
From unknown candidate claiming to be Tea Party picks, to unofficial Tea Party groups, to arguments within the party; it looks like the Tea Party has achieved enough momentum and notoriety to be a target for enemies, hangers-on and scam artists.

You just can't have a good thing these days unless you are willing to work hard to protect it.

Another "sign" of the times

A Missouri man's "incendiary" trailer/sign has garnered much attention and attracted a couple of arsonists.
The sign asks: "Are you a producer or a parasite" and states: "Democrats - Party of parasites".
Someone tried to torch it twice and a nearby empty farmhouse was also burned.
Local Democrats aren't too happy and the sign's owner figures he should have been clear that he meant the party at the national level, not local.

Politicians need more regulation

Politicians keep telling us we need more law; more regulation; more control of those evil, greedy corporations.
Usually it is the Liberal politicians making these demands, but conservatives have not done enough to stop either spending or regulation lately.
Now we find out that at least 8 politicians held fundraisers just before voting on financial reform.
This may not have even made it into the headlines if it weren't for the fact that 5 of the lawmakers in question are Republicans.

Now that I am registered as "No Party" I feel cleaner.
I wonder if the Congressional Black Caucus is happy that the Office of Congressional Ethics is handling this; seeing as how they want it shut down for catching so many of them behaving badly.

Democrat Cowards Dodge Voters

Rather than face the people they betrayed by voting for health care despite overwhelming opposition, Democrats are NOT having town hall style meetings in droves.
They are sticking to invitation only bunker conferences with the like minded and the lemmings.
I wonder what they will do as November approaches.

Democrats in trouble for being right

Democrats have been working on "immigration reform" legislation that has not yet been submitted for review or vote.
The legislation reportedly includes a requirement for all workers to have a national ID card with biometric information.
The leak of this information has "civil liberties" groups (can you say neo-communist?) up in arms.
Their complaints?
It would be prohibitively expensive, cumbersome, intrusive, and (shudder) Orwellian.
I do not recall the ACLU, et. al. weighing in against TARP or Obamacare, so the first one is bogus.
Cumbersome yes, but only in the beginning because the ID card can double as a drivers license and the DMV can lift some of the weight.
Since the DOD already has my fingerprints and the state department has proof of my citizenship, I don't personally see it as intrusive.
Orwellian? We'll see.

So; the Democrats get something right and the idiots squeal.
Maybe that is what they wanted.
It also doesn't mean there aren't a lot of items in the bill that we won't want (like amnesty).
