Nancy Pelosi was the head Cheerleader for Obamacare.
Nancy kept telling us how much cheaper and better healthcare would be once the law was in full effect.
Now that it is getting closer to full operation, Nancy's district has begun receiving waivers that allow businesses to opt out.
20 percent of the 204 new waivers went to snooty restaurants and hip nightclubs in Pelosi's district.
Do as I say, not as I do.
Will the Liberals in San Francisco boycott these businesses?
Do they even care, or are they ready to excuse them because they are owned by the right (left) kind of rich people?

Possible out for states opposing Obamacare
Virginia (and more than 20 other states) are suing the federal government to void the portion of the law that mandates individual policies for almost everyone.
This might not be such a big deal if they succeed if the law were like so many other laws as most laws have a boilerplate severance clause which allows for the remainder of a law to remain in force if any portion of the law proves to be unconstitutional.
But the thousands of pages that make up this bill do not contain this clause, so if the one portion demanding each person buy insurance for themselves is shot down in court, the whole law will become invalid.
This shows that Congress either a) believed there was no chance that any part would be found invalid, b) didn't care a fig about constitutionality, or c) planted a self-destruct to be able to claim they "tried" without ending up as uber-badguys in the history books.
I'm thinking 'b'.

Missouri rocks!
71% of Missouri voters said YES! to a ballot measure rejecting Obama's healthcare mandate.
The new law would exempt Missouri citizens from being forced to buy health insurance or being penalized for not buying it.
Here is a quote from one of the few people voting "no":
"I don't think people should be walking around sick," said Kathy Ward, a 57-year-old Columbia nurse, who voted against Missouri's law. "The fact remains, people have the right to have health care, and they should get it. It help makes a healthier society."
I would be shocked to hear that Kathy would take one dime less in salary or pay any more for benefits in order to make health care more affordable.

First Opie sold out, now Andy has too
I was disappointed to find that Ron Howard had gone over to the (dark) Liberal side and started saying and producing leftist propaganda.
Now I find out that Andy Griffith is going to be the pitch man for Obamacare!
Disgusting and disappointing to the extreme.
I think Bush should take back his medal.
