A dog's life

It's really unfair when you think about it.
Just like soldiers that return home after surviving the battlefields of the world, only to be killed by a mugger or in a traffic accident, a dog that saved soldiers lives; went on Oprah; and was given a "safe" home here in the US, has been killed.
This time it was just a "mistake".

Bad Astronaut! Bad!

A Chinese astronaut admitted to eating "normal" food in space after stating that he is asked if they eat delicacies.
What is normal? Dog.
Animal rights groups are up in arms over his statement as he is a "role model" and "hero" to children.
Yep! I want to eat my dog, just like that Chinese astronaut!
Maybe they should use this example to try turning kids off to all meat by playing on their sympathy for pets?

Just swat him with a rolled up newspaper and banish him to the back yard!

Missing Dog at Airport Trained to Bite

And you thought lost luggage was bad.
A Norwegian Doberman trained as a combat dog escaped from his crate ant Dulles Airport in Virginia.
His handler was not allowed to look for him on the tarmac because there weren't enough personnel to 'escort' her.
I bet the airport workers that have to be outside are on their toes and carrying dog biscuits.
