Rosie the shark killer

Before Florida's ban on shark fishing went into effect, Rosie O'Donnell went on a fishing trip where she caught a hammerhead shark.
Now that the fishing guide has posted her picture with the dead shark, a firestorm has erupted on the left.
Animal activists and leftists in general are upset with Rosie for not toeing the line and following the left's rule book.
What really cracks me up about it is the response is typified by a marine biologist's comment:  "This is basically an endorsement. It sends the message that it's an OK activity. And this is not an activity that we want celebrities endorsing."
I've got news for you pal: celebrities don't think you have the right to tell them how to live.
However, they sincerely believe they have the right to run your life.

Masked protesters outlawed (sort of)

Protesters in Washington, D.C. are now required to notify police prior to protesting outside of private residences while wearing masks.
Failure to do so "may" result in arrest.
A large part of the reason for this "strongly worded" bill is to curb animal rights protesters who have been harassing and intimidating people at their residences.

I don't understand why anyone has the "right" to wear a mask while protesting.
You absolutely do not have an expectation of privacy while engaging in such public arguments.
Anyone familiar with human nature knows that facing masked strangers who outnumber you and are (usually) in the grip of high emotion is intimidating and that wearing a mask provides an illusion of power that may lead some to commit acts they would avoid if they were exposed.

Bad Astronaut! Bad!

A Chinese astronaut admitted to eating "normal" food in space after stating that he is asked if they eat delicacies.
What is normal? Dog.
Animal rights groups are up in arms over his statement as he is a "role model" and "hero" to children.
Yep! I want to eat my dog, just like that Chinese astronaut!
Maybe they should use this example to try turning kids off to all meat by playing on their sympathy for pets?

Just swat him with a rolled up newspaper and banish him to the back yard!
