A Gay softball league has won the right to limit the number of straight players on each team, but the case involving players that claim they were kicked out for not being 'Gay enough' was allowed to proceed.
The whole point of equal rights has been ignored in this case.
Unless you can have a "Straight" league where gays are limited, you cannot have a "Gay" or "Lesbian" or anything league that limits the number of players because of their sexual orientation (or religion, or race, sex, etc.)

Gay Saudi Prince Guilty of Murder
Saudi prince Abdulaziz bin Nasser al Saud was found guilty by a British court of murdering his servant, Bandera Abdulaziz, 32.
Abdulaziz was found beaten and strangled in the Landmark Hotel, Marylebone, on 15 February 2010 (that is swift justice).
The pair apparently had a sexual relationship beyond the Master and Servant relationship and the beatings related in court had a sexual nature to them.
It is rare for a member of the Saudi royal family to be charged with, much less convicted of, a serious crime.
To add to Mr. al Saud's woes is the fact that homosexuality is a capital crime in his homeland.
If he ever returns, he faces a death sentence.

Google pays gays and lesbians more; I see lawsuits
On the surface this sounds worse than it is, but it is still bad because it shows an obvious prejudice and preference.
Google has decided to pay (retroactively) it's gay and lesbian workers who have "partners" extra money to cover taxes on benefits that cover the partners.
They are not doing the same for heterosexual couples, claiming that they can marry if they want the tax break.
This discriminates against the straights for their "lifestyle" choice and they can sue for it.
They can also claim that marriage has been devalued by the continued attempts to allow people who insist on labeling themselves with terms that differentiate themselves from the rest of society, yet demand to share the word that has always represented a union between a man and a woman.

Hope for the Boy Scouts
I am feeling some schadenfreude after reading this story.
Several Bi-sexual men are taking legal action against a Gay sports association for not allowing them to join because they aren't "Gay enough".
If the association wins, the Boy Scouts may be able to use the case as precedent because their case uses an argument similar to the one used by the Boy Scouts to justify exclusion of gays.

The weird thing is that the association does allow straight men to play, but limits their numbers.
The action concentrates on the men being labeled as "not gay".

Obama orders Gay visitation rights
President Obama ordered HHS Secretary Sibelius to issue rules allowing non-traditional couples visitation and health decision rights where their significant others are concerned. I can see the hospital legal departments pulling their hair out over this one.
I personally do not understand why people that you care about can't visit you in the hospital if they aren't related by blood or marriage, but I do understand limiting the numbers to a manageable few.
I also think that single people should not have to go to a lawyer just to assign to someone the legal right to decide for them if they cannot communicate or are no longer considered competent.
Under the new rules, you will likely be able to visit just about anyone you have even a tenuous connection to because the hospital cannot prove you don't have a right.
I see lawsuits...they are everywhere.
