Oliver Stone apologizes for remarks seen as anti-Semitic

Oliver Stone has rarely met a dictator he didn't like (and he has met a few).
In fact, the more they hate America, the more likely they will feel the love from Ollie.
Stone recently made remarks claiming that Russians suffered more than Jews from Hitler's aggression and that Jews ran the US media.
After responses from many, including the Jewish ant-defamation folks, Stone apologized for making a "clumsy" association.
He even went so far as to admit they do not control the media.

Now, will he apologize for his dictator worship?
Don't hold your breath..

Mexican violence you won't see in the headlines

A police convoy in Mexico was attacked by gunmen who killed 10 officers and a prison riot has claimed the lives of 28 prisoners. Our press will not cover these stories with the same enthusiasm they exhibit when showing us how mean and deadly our Border Patrol agents are when threatened by dangerous criminals.

Gulf coast disaster ignored by Hollywood?

Haiti got immediate attention and charity events, Katrina (New Orleans) provoked much angst and charity events.
The Gulf oil spill, not so much.
Where are the commercials begging for help?
Where are the celebrities demanding more from our government?
Where are Sean Penn and his boat posse?

Some celebs on the B-list are trying to help: "Last week, Lenny Kravitz, Mos Def, John Legend and others took part inGulf Aid, a fundraising concert held in New Orleans, which producer Ben Jaffe says raised $350,000 for fishing families and wetlands restoration. Is that all?
Is that the best they can do?
I guess it is to be expected. They and the media pretty much ignored Katrina damage east of Louisiana and it appears they will do it again. . 

Reporting Illegal Children

From the American Thinker:
The Governor in a Southwestern state has ordered child services to report any suspected illegal children to ICE.
The NY Times, Washington Post, LA Times, etc. are silent on the story.
The broadcast media are mum.
No one is marching in the streets (yet).
There is no national outrage.
Why?
The state is New Mexico and the Governor is Democrat Bill Richardson.

Come on Congressmen and Senators!
Here are a bunch of greedy, grasping, political ideologues that have a permanent pulpit to preach from.
According to past statements from Congressional hearings, I can only assume that the extremely high salaries and benefits of these individuals have our elected representative chomping at the bit to haul these people before them to answer for their crimes against humanity.

These guys are making even more than the poor schlubs at Goldman Sachs and other financial institutions.

Just because they work in the media industry and they have historically covered the collective rear end of Liberals in Congress shouldn't stop the train of justice from rolling into town.
