Govt. workers still surfing porn

Senator Charles Grassley had taken on the issue of government workers wasting time searching porn or gambling while at work and was promised that things would change.
Now he is highlighting the lack of change and disparate treatment of those caught breaking the rules.
Whistle blowers have testified that employees at the National Science Foundation (NSF) are still accessing inappropriate sites and that higher level employees are suffering harsher punishment than low level (union) employees.
Grassley was also informed that a filtering service installed at the NSF was only turned on "hurriedly" after he wrote to ask about progress.

Maybe this is why we haven't gotten to the truth of climate change.

And you thought texting while driving was bad

A Cincinnati woman was pulled over for overly tinted windows and the police officers discovered she was watching a pornographic movie on a laptop while using a vibrator to "stimulate" herself while possibly high on crack.
Not to worry though.
The passenger was operating the laptop so the driver could concentrate on the vibrator and her driving (at night, with darkened windows).

It's a wonder they had time to investigate Goldman Sachs

Senior staffers at the SEC sped a lot of time surfing porn on the internet.
One of the worst offenders: "A senior attorney at the SEC's Washington headquarters spent up to eight hours a day looking at and downloading pornography. When he ran out of hard drive space, he burned the files to CDs or DVDs, which he kept in boxes around his office. He agreed to resign, an earlier watchdog report said."
I see now how they could have missed the meltdown and Bernie Madoff and so much more.
They could pay me half what these guys get ($200K) and I would wade through financial websites all day.
