This story is just amazing and deeply disturbing!
Even worse it shows that disgusting corruption was aided and abetted in part by Arnold Schwarzenegger.
A lawyer in the LA area actually trying to help people has been jailed in essence for exposing corruption in the way lawsuits against the government are handled.
"Despite winning multiple judgments for taxpayers in other counties in California, Dr. Fine had been puzzled by his inability to obtain a favorable ruling in Los Angeles County. Upon further investigation, he discovered an unlawful practice that had been widespread since 1987: L.A. County Supervisors were using taxpayer funds to pay Superior Court judges for deciding cases in favor of the County. Further research revealed that during the period from 2005-2009, only three cases were ruled in favor of plaintiffs against the County of Los Angeles. Dr. Fine estimated that payouts since 1987 from the County to L.A. Superior Court judges amounted to three hundred fifty million dollars."
The facts lead to a conclusion of clear retaliation.
So why haven't we heard of this case?
The MSM has obviously ignored this "made for 60 Minutes" story and it needs to be spread far and wide.

Iraq wants what?
From the American Thinker:
Saddam Hussein stole many Torahs and Haggadahs from one of the oldest Jewish diaspora communities.
American military units recovered many of these stolen items from Saddam's palaces and held them in trust.
Now Iraq is demanding them back as part of their heritage?
How many Jews are still in Iraq?
Shouldn't they or Israel get these religious artifacts?
I think the Iraqi government needs to rethink this one.

Ted Kennedy was a prime example of the selfish leftist environmentalist mentality.
He and his ilk were and are all for 'alternative' energy as long as it is not where they can see it.

My philosophy is that you put alternative energy plants in the backyards of rich liberals whenever you can.

I wasn't going to post this one until I saw the unintended humor in the ridiculous statements made by the "oh so wise" entertainers.

They have begun to speak and much rib tickling stupidity will flow from our pampered, tanned, and toned obliviots in the entertainment industry.

Democrats in trouble for being right
Democrats have been working on "immigration reform" legislation that has not yet been submitted for review or vote.
The legislation reportedly includes a requirement for all workers to have a national ID card with biometric information.
The leak of this information has "civil liberties" groups (can you say neo-communist?) up in arms.
Their complaints?
It would be prohibitively expensive, cumbersome, intrusive, and (shudder) Orwellian.
I do not recall the ACLU, et. al. weighing in against TARP or Obamacare, so the first one is bogus.
Cumbersome yes, but only in the beginning because the ID card can double as a drivers license and the DMV can lift some of the weight.
Since the DOD already has my fingerprints and the state department has proof of my citizenship, I don't personally see it as intrusive.
Orwellian? We'll see.
So; the Democrats get something right and the idiots squeal.
Maybe that is what they wanted.
It also doesn't mean there aren't a lot of items in the bill that we won't want (like amnesty).

San Francisco Hypocrisy
San Francisco's leadership are screaming for a boycott of Arizona because of the new law making it possible for law enforcement to identify non-legal residents and detain illegals for deportation.
What they aren't talking about is their own residency identification card that allows legal citizens to access services that they don;t want to waste on non-citizens.
Pretty much the same thing, but totally acceptable because it was done for the right (leftist) reasons.
