And the real criminal got away

A Delaware theater was showing a movie that had a great appeal to minorities and had large crowds attending.
It had recently suffered a robbery and had increased security.
It had a policy of checking tickets more closely during sell outs.
The theater manager personally made an announcement telling the patrons they needed keep quite and insure their cell phones were off, even though the pre-movie screen show also provided the warning.
Juana Fuentes-Bowles, then director of the state's Human Relations Division was in the theater that night.
she stood up, announced that she was offended and proceeded to take names and numbers of patrons in order to organize a complaint against the theater.
An initial investigation and hearing by the state Human Relations Commission fined the theater and charged them with violating the equal accommodations law.
The state supreme court reversed the decision and stated that the commission erred in its findings and failed to explain their reasoning for them in the first place.
Juana (who left her position with the state) could not be reached for comment.

It seems to me that yelling "Fire!" in a theater is not the only speech that should be restricted.

No more pens in school?

It finally happened.
A school kid pulled a pen apart and made a "weapon" out of it using plastic balls from an airsoft gun.
Usually, straws and other tubes are used for spit wads but this kid obviously didn't want to be accused of trying to spread diseases.
Using the letter of the law as a weapon, the school administration claimed his pen body and pellets fell under the description of "projectile weapon" and had him charged with 3 misdemeanor assaults for shooting pellets at fellow students (who were apparently "annoyed").

Now they have to wrestle with the problem of any kid being able to convert a pen into a "weapon" at any time during the school day.
Maybe we should just ban pens; even in the administration areas.

Darwinism and greed

A 23 year old English man bought caffeine powder on the internet and decided to throw caution to the wind.
He took 32 times the recommended dose and chased it with an energy drink.
After tossing his cookies (and blood) he was rushed to the hospital where he died.
An indication of genetic stupidity came from his aunt, who told the press: "I think there should be a warning on it saying it can kill."

Meanwhile, in India, a man must have been carrying a Chinese payoff for Obama to receive during his upcoming visit.
The Sri Lankan man was caught with large numbers of diamonds in his gut.
At least his diet only led to discomfort and arrest.

Man "scuffles" with his parrot

This is one of those stories you can't make up.
A man was walking with his parrot in a backpack.
He got into a physical altercation with the bird which ended with the bird losing feathers and the man suffering from bird bites.
His story is that the bird is not trained and would not listen, so he shook it.
Anyone who doesn't respect a large bird's ability to damage anything it can fit it's nut-cracking beak around is a fool.

Better off expelled?

A Broward county boy was expelled from school for bringing a toy gun to school.
That isn't so unusual in this era of PC stupidity and zero tolerance for anyone who isn't a real criminal, but he is still not allowed to return over a year later.
He is only 8 years old!
The best behaved 8 year olds will absolutely break some rules and this punishment is way out of line.
The only good thing about it is that the school has not been able to indoctrinate him for more than a year.

I hope to hear that the entire school board in that county is voted out.

Meanwhile, another Broward county Dad actually boarded a bus and threatened to kill anyone harassing his daughter.
She hasn't been expelled for "bringing a weapon" on the bus.

And then they came for the farmers

Proposed EPA rules on dust have farmers across America on high alert.
There is no way to farm without producing dust and the farmers insist that they wouldn't and don't endanger themselves by making dangerous levels.
Even driving down a dirt road could violate the rules.
Does this mean an end to access roads to state and federal lands?

Psst! Hey kid; wanna buy a hamster?

San Francisco wants to ban the sale of all pets (particularly rodents) except for fish due to the irresponsible actions of many people that purchase, then discard pets because they had no clue how they really behave and how much maintenance is required. Once again, they are legislating away basic rights rather than educating citizens to be responsible.
This is bound to fail if they implement it and they will lose tax revenue from the disappearing pets shops.
Lets set up a mega pet store just outside their jurisdiction!

So, what do they have against fish?
I mean, if that is all you can buy then that is all that will be flushed when people get bored or frustrated.

Stupidity after Laker win

The police have softpedaled for too long when it comes to post sports riots and they are paying the price again in LA.
Even though the Lakers won the game, revelers still had to riot and damage property.
They also threw concrete and other objects at the police (not learning from the border shooting).
As long as they do not suffer for rioting, they will continue to riot and even get worse.
Considering the mindset of illegals in this state, the rioters will likely insist that they have a "civil right" to continue.

Doing all that is humanly possible to prevent the cleanup

The Coast Guard has stopped barges that Louisiana sent out to suck up oil and shut them down until they confirm all of them have the proper emergency equipment and the barges manufacture meets government specifications.
They report difficulty in contacting some of the manufacturers.
I wonder if they checked all other vessels so well.
In the end, after the governor contacted the White House, the Coast Guard allowed the barges to return to work 24 hours later.

The tyranny of the minority via the judiciary

I still cannot fathom how a Federal Judge could do this!
Port Chester NY has never had a Hispanic village trustee even though there are almost 50 percent Hispanic residents, so the courts and the Justice Department "decided" that the elections were unfair and gave each voter 6 votes instead of one.
That's right! Six votes per person!
Why is that fair? Because it allows organized voters to vote more than one time for the same candidate and thereby elect one or two candidates while others waste their votes by spreading them out.

Did it ever occur to the racist judge that maybe the Hispanics in the community:
1 - Couldn't vote?
2 - Didn't vote?
3 - Voted for the White guys?

Nah! The judge just knows minorities only vote for their own kind, just like white people.
Isn't that why Obama got elected?

AZ has stones when it comes to power

An Arizona electric power commissioner offered to "help" LA to "divest" itself of power generated in Arizona.
I love it!
The idiots in Sacramento and LA as well as the idiots at PERS and STRS are always divesting themselves of politically incorrect investments (no matter the cost to retirees), and California has forced power companies to offer people the option to buy "clean" power, so why not allow them to not get power from Arizona if they feel so strongly?

Entertainers speak out on AZ immigration law

I wasn't going to post this one until I saw the unintended humor in the ridiculous statements made by the "oh so wise" entertainers.

"At the Billboard Latin Music Awards ceremony in Puerto Rico, singer Ricky Martin denounced the law, too, saying it "makes no sense.""

"Colombian singer Shakira visited Phoenix to meet the city's police chief and mayor amid her concerns the measure would violate human and civil rights.
"It goes against all human dignity." she said."

They have begun to speak and much rib tickling stupidity will flow from our pampered, tanned, and toned obliviots in the entertainment industry.
