Dutch vote give right another surge

The Netherlands has moved farther right again and Geert Wilder's party has picked up more seats.
The party is naturally referred to as "far right" by the far left press even though they are only demanding reasonable things like law and order and no more new mosques or immigrants from Muslim countries (after they proved to not have any desire to assimilate).
I hope they gain even more power as the Dutch learn what so many in Europe have learned and so many in the US refuse to acknowledge; that Islam is possibly more dangerous that the invasion of illegals in the US and to many illegals are Muslims.

Timely Pot News From the Kiwis

I have been frustrated by the lack of available research into the potential negative health effects of smoking pot and, just in time for the California pot vote, there is a study out of New Zealand.
It states that smoking one joint is the equivalent of multiple cigarettes and that negative effects on lung function are beyond that which can be attributed to just the smoke component.
So, will we hear that pot is a double whammy on your health form our media?
At least KCRA in Sacramento has reported on this story although the story is not on their site yet.
They do have a story that claims "many" medical pot users do not want to get high and that they can use a new strain of pot that has very little THC and more of the compound that helps with pain and slows cancer growth (and here I thought medical pot users had to get high or wouldn't be helped.)
Hopefully the New Zealand study will get more play before we vote.

No Pay, No Vote

I love it!
This is one of the changes I have wished for for decades.
M Allen Fritsch at American Thinker proposes that voters can only be those that have payed Federal income taxes for the two previous years.
Of course, as stated in the article, Congress will arrange for many to pay just one dollar in order to give them a vote but heck, a dollar is more than almost half pay now!
