More failure in our schools

It is bad enough that our schools do not teach children right and wrong.
Well, at least they don't teach what most of us believe is right and/or wrong.
Now they are teaching us that even if you break the law, you can be a high profile student and still not be kicked out.
Pedro Ramirez is the student body president of Fresno State University and Jose Salcedo is the Student Government Association President at the Miami Dade College's InterAmerican campus.
They both recently revealed that they are and have been in our country illegally for years and have defrauded the schools, students, and taxpayers of the cities they live in.
It is quite likely that they will receive support and cover from activist groups and Democrat politicians known for defending criminal activity.

It is no coincidence that these "timely" revaluations come as Democrats in congress are poised to push for the "Dream Act" that would allow illegals who were brought to America under the age of 16 "through no fault of their own" if they meet certain criteria and follow the rules (after knowingly breaking them for years).

Am I the only one that finds it rather threatening that people here illegally are actively and openly engaging in politics in a way designed to force the door to our country open even more?

And you thought Ted was bad

Ted Nugent (Rock Star and avid hunter) recently got into trouble in California for taking a deer illegally because he used bait and the deer was not old enough (as judged by antler points).
Now we hear that Brothers in Kansas have allegedly held illegal hunts involving at least 60 hunters from other states and 119 deer.
James and Marlon Butler are accused of encouraging hunters to use illegal methods like spotlighting (deer in the headlights anyone?), hunting without a valid license, and using firearms during bow season.
Unlike Nugent, they may spend a lot of time in jail for the charges against them.
While it is doubtful the court or jury will accept their arguments, the brothers do have a point when they say the state is paying out large sums of money to cull herds due to overpopulation and it is somewhat hypocritical to arrest someone for doing it in an unofficial capacity.
All of the hunts took place on private property leased by the Butler brothers.

"Unexpected" spike in driver's license demand

The 3 states, 2 next to Arizona that are not demanding a birth certificate for drivers license applications have seen a spike in applicants.
Utah, New Mexico, and Washington have seen a great increase in applications as people leave Arizona, or seek ID that may deflect police attention if they are pulled over or stopped.
In some states, the applications have nearly doubled and the argument against easing license requirements because they will attract illegals seem to be supported by this activity.
In New Mexico, even the Democrat running for Governor is calling for greater restrictions to prevent illegals from gaining a drivers license.

This new migration and the load it will place on already cash strapped states will likely lead to more changes in those states to restrict the freedoms of illegals and, ultimately, push them out.

Sweet Irony

A Boston Democrat got rear ended by an "alleged" illegal.
The perpetrator basically laughed off the situation, saying he would just go back to his country and that nothing was going to happen to him.
This would be a perfect story to frame the conservative argument for policing our border and deporting as many illegals as possible.
As usual, even though this story broke Friday, the MSM is not carrying it.

AZ fans tossed from game for pro-law shirts

Arizona fans at an NBA game were removed from their front row seats for shirts that said "Viva los 1070" in support of Arizona's new law allowing police to ask detainees their residency status.
This will not get the coverage or support given to the supporters of illegal invaders.
The fans in question were allowed to return to their seats after the security head evidently smelled a lawsuit.
While they deny it, TNT is said to have started the whole thing after their cameras spotted the fans shirts.
Only one side has the right to be heard.

Obama's illegal Aunt gets to stay

The judge in Obama's Aunt's deportation hearing has "mysteriously" reversed himself and allowed the criminal with no visible means of support to stay in the US indefinitely.
This, of course, will in no way encourage more people to invade our country without official permission to enter.
Yeah, right!
The Aunt, Zeituni Onyango, who received a "free" hip transplant, eats out regularly, and always appears well dressed; has no job or legal income and lives in government housing that legal immigrants cannot normally access.

It's a Miracle! Mexico admits abuse of illegals!

I thought it would never happen, but the Mexican government has admitted that illegals are mistreated there: "The Interior Department acknowledged in a statement that the mainly Central American migrants who pass through Mexico on their way to the United States suffer abuses, but attributed the problem to criminal gangs branching out into kidnapping and extortion of migrants."


Of course they haven't admitted being responsible themselves, but if this gets enough play in the MSM they will be forced to admit to their harsh policies.

"One of the main issues, Amnesty says, is that migrants fear they will be deported if they complain to Mexican authorities about abuses.

At present, Article 67 of Mexico's Population Law says, "Authorities, whether federal, state or municipal ... are required to demand that foreigners prove their legal presence in the country, before attending to any issues.""

Unfortunately, Amnesty International is bringing this to our attention for the wrong reasons.

What they are apparently after is to change Mexico's policy from much stricter than America's to "kid gloves" treatment that will allow them to funnel through to our country.

This Ain't No Tea Party

Arizona has its new immigration law (note: not anti-illegal) and the left is having a fit.
The media are trying to spin the protests against this law as being as or more peaceful than Tea Party rallies while showing video of an aggressive mob harassing police and throwing things.
Riot police have been called to the Arizona protest and have not been called to any Tea Party protests.
Tea Party rallies stay put, they don't leave their (permitted) areas until they are leaving the rally.

I hope this situation is pulling more fence sitters to the right side by showing how desperately wrong the media and leftist supporters of criminal invaders are.

Arizona Enacts Strict Immigration Law

Arizona (one of the several states on the front lines of illegal immigration) has apparently had enough. They have a tough new state immigration law that allows local and state law enforcement officers to stop and verify the documentation of anyone suspected of being in the country illegally.
