Haiti got immediate attention and charity events, Katrina (New Orleans) provoked much angst and charity events.
The Gulf oil spill, not so much.
Where are the commercials begging for help?
Where are the celebrities demanding more from our government?
Where are Sean Penn and his boat posse?
Some celebs on the B-list are trying to help: "Last week, Lenny Kravitz, Mos Def, John Legend and others took part inGulf Aid, a fundraising concert held in New Orleans, which producer Ben Jaffe says raised $350,000 for fishing families and wetlands restoration. Is that all?
Is that the best they can do?
I guess it is to be expected. They and the media pretty much ignored Katrina damage east of Louisiana and it appears they will do it again. .
